Liberation of Bank Association Members After Protests

The Banking Association, led nationally by Sergio Palazzo, announced that Guillermo and Gabriel Berrozpe were released after being detained by the police at the end of the usual Wednesday retirees' demonstration. The union led by Palazzo confirmed that the Berrozpe brothers were released from their 'illegal detention' and criticized President Javier Milei and National Security Minister Patricia Bullrich for the 'repressive violence' they promote.

In a statement released by the Banking Association, it is mentioned that during the Federal Pensioner Rally, the Berrozpe brothers were repressed, beaten, and arrested at the end of the protest. The union demanded the immediate release of the detainees and described the events as 'illegal and abusive by the security forces.'

In its statements, the Banking Association pointed out: 'We must not tolerate the normalization of the repressive violence they promote, nor the virtual euthanasia of many retirees, nor the complicity of a large part of the judicial apparatus.' The release of the Berrozpe brothers represents a relief for the union organization, which has emphasized the importance of respecting the rights of demonstrators and avoiding the disproportionate use of force by the authorities.
